Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust  (City and Queens Campus) is a large acute teaching trust providing a wide range of in-patient, outpatient and day care services for a local population of 650,000 people. 

City Hospital Campus provides specialized services to a wider population of two million people. The hospital occupies a 90-acre site and first opened to patients in 1903. Approximately 5,900 people work at the hospital, and NCH has the valued support of more than 800 volunteers. NCH has over 1,000 beds and cares for 75,000 in-patients and 22,000-day patients each year. The hospital has a major role in education and research and has particularly strong links with the University of Nottingham.
The purpose built Oncology unit, in Nottingham City Hospital has approximately 45 beds, dedicated chemotherapy suite, day case unit, 6 Linear accelerators, two CT simulators, microselectron and a HDR unit. As part of the East Midlands Cancer Network, it provides Cancer services to a population of 1.5 million. The University academic department of oncology is situated within the Oncology unit.

Kings Mill Hospital (part of Sherwood Forest NHS Trust) is a busy 650-bedded General hospital with major surgical and medical specialties and serves a catchment area of 300,000 in north Nottinghamshire. It has outpatient Oncology clinics and a well equipped Outpatient Chemotherapy suite.
